The Vermillion-Clay County Ambulance Department provides twenty-four hours of Basic Emergency Medical Service to the residents of Vermillion and Clay County.
The Ambulance Department responds to approximately 450-500 calls per year, both emergency and non-emergency in nature.
They also provide standby for athletic events, fires, and other community functions that total 2200 man hours per year
